North Norfolk Self Catering Holiday Cottage Accommodation In A Four Star Luxury Chapel Conversion

Welcome to The Old Chapel, a luxury holiday cottage nestling in the North Norfolk countryside a short distance from some of England’s most beautiful beaches.

The English Tourist Council’s VisitBritain described The Old Chapel as “a unique style of accommodation with a distinct wow factor”; the Eastern Daily Press Sunday Magazine called it “a wonderful home packed with character and colour”. Our other visitors seem to agree, and you can read their comments in the cottage guest book.

Our holiday cottage is in the North Norfolk village of Hindolveston, an ideal base for exploring the coastal Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty that stretches from Brancaster through Holkham, Wells, Blakeney and Cley to Sheringham. We are also surrounded by National Trust properties such as Blickling and Felbrigg Halls, the Queen’s residence at Sandringham, and Walsingham, England’s most important place of religious pilgrimage.

If you haven’t been to North Norfolk before take a look at our guide to our top ten Norfolk coast and country attractions and our photo gallery of the area. The fresh sea and country air will help you soon work up an appetite, so we also have plenty of information on Norfolk food, whether you’re catering for yourself or eating out at one of the area’s many restaurants.

“In that country of luminous landscapes and wide horizons where the wind runs in the reeds and the slow rivers flow to our cold sea, a man may still sense and live something of the life of the older England which was uninhibited, free and natural.” Alan Savory, Norfolk Poacher
