Terms And Conditions For Holiday Rental Of The Old Chapel, Hindolveston

1. Duration and times of rental.
Rentals are for a maximum of four weeks, and commence at 4pm on the first day of the rental and end at 10am on the day of departure unless previously agreed in writing.

2. Booking and payment.
For reservations made more than 6 weeks before arrival a non refundable deposit of 25% of the total rental tariff is required to secure the reservation. A reservation is not secured until this deposit has been received. For reservations made within 6 weeks of arrival the full rental tariff is due immediately.

3. Final Payment.
Unless previously agreed in writing, final payment is due no later than 6 weeks before the start of a rental period. If final payment is not received by the Due Date the guest will lose their booking and the deposit will be forfeit.

4. Prices.
Our prices include all bed linen, towels, heating, electricity and water and complimentary wifi. Use of wifi is entirely at users risk and you should ensure that any equipment used to connect to the internet is protected by suitable anti-virus and firewall software. We accept no liability for internet outages caused by ISP or telecoms failure beyond our control. There is a modest supplement for pets: please see our website for current prices. Otherwise our prices are all-inclusive.

5. Keys and directions.
Directions and key transfer arrangements will be made once full payment has been received.

6. Number of occupants.
Under no circumstances may more than the maximum number of persons stated on the booking form occupy the property.

7. Cancellations.
A booking can only be cancelled prior to the start of the holiday. On confirmation of your booking a contract of hire will exist between The Old Chapel owners and the guest party. In the event of cancellation by you 6 weeks or more before the start of your holiday your 25% deposit will be non refundable. Cancellation within 6 weeks of the start of your holiday will forfeit the full hire amount paid or due unless The Old Chapel is re-let, in which case only the 25% deposit will be forfeit.

8. Access to the property.
The Old Chapel owners reserve the right to gain access to the property at any time if necessary in case of emergency.

9. Security deposit.
Unlike many self catering properties we do not take a security deposit: we take great pride in and care of The Old Chapel and our experience shows that our guests do likewise. We understand that that normal wear and tear occurs and make no charge for minor breakages: if any do occur please notify us as soon as possible so that we can make any necessary replacements for subsequent guests. Please note that guests are liable for any major damage or loss that falls outside the scope of normal wear and tear. Upon guest departure The Old Chapel is cleaned and inspected: if any major damage or loss is discovered you will be notified within 14 days and invoiced for repair or replacement costs.

10. Personal insurance.
We recommend that you have adequate personal and holiday cancellation insurance to cover you and all members of your party. This should be suitable for UK self catering holidays arranged independently of a travel agent and should include cancellation cover. Under no circumstances will The Old Chapel owners be responsible for loss of life, personal injury, medical expenses, accidents, damage to guest property, personal effects or motor vehicles, and you should ensure that any insurance covers such eventualities.

11. Pets.
We welcome well behaved dogs [maximum of two]. No other pets are permitted. Pets may not be left unsupervised in The Old Chapel as this can lead to considerable damage to the property and distress to the pet.

12. Smoking.
For the comfort of all guests, and in compliance with current UK legislation, smoking is not permitted inside The Old Chapel.
